Many years ago, before marriage and the kids, I used to write poetry. They were words that flowed from my heart, my life, my questions, my thoughts, my environment, my imagination, my relationship with God and the people in my life. And then I took a long break.
This year I am hoping to get back to writing poetry as the words come to heart. Perhaps those words will bless a soul and inspire hope and faith in someone’s heart.
Inspiring Hope Poetry Collection – Remember!
As for His failing you, never dream of it — hate the thought of it. The God who has been sufficient until now, should be trusted to the end. – Charles Spurgeon
Remember!
The unseen man in the fire.🔥
When the heat from the pain and hurt burned deeper than you ever felt.
When the raging fires of life engulfed you roundabout and there seemed to be no way of escape.
When the smoke kept rising, filling the atmosphere and almost choking you to death.
Remember – he was in the fire too.
Remember!
He who walked on water. 🌊
When you take a daring step to walk on the waters of life.
When you face the raging and fierce storms of life as they hit.
When your faith weakens for a moment and the waters draw you in deeper.
Remember – he is close and will draw you out of deep waters.
Remember!
He who stopped for a blind man.
When you scream out for mercy and the world is silent.
When you feel trapped in the dark and are hoping for a single ray of light.
When you are in search of freedom and throw off the garments from the past
Remember – he will stop and turn his face to you.
Remember!
He who walked the earth full of power and doing great miracles.
When life’s pressures seem to weigh you down.
When the enemy launches his endless attacks to bring you down.
When the answers seem faraway and problems surround you like a river.
Remember – His unfailing love is forever and his word can be trusted.
Remember!
Even when you don’t see him – he is working.
Even when the darkness is fierce – he is the light that shines in the darkness.
Even when impossible feels like your reality – he is the way maker and miracle worker.
Even when all hope is lost and it feels like the end – he is too faithful to fail you.
Remember today!
Jesus the son of God who died to set you free and give you a new life.
Remember this and never forget!
God the father. He is:
El Roi – the God who sees.
El Shaddai – the God who is more than enough.
Jehovah Jireh – The Lord our Provider.
Jehovah Shammah – The Lord is Here.
Jehovah Rapha – The Lord our Healer.
Remember and rest in his love.
It doesn’t always happen on our timetable or the way we thought, but I can assure you, God is a faithful God.” ― Joel Osteen
