Inspiring Hope Poetry Collection- Daughter of God!

Many years ago, before marriage and the kids, I used to write poetry. They were words that flowed from my heart, my life, my questions, my thoughts, my environment, my imagination, my relationship with God and the people in my life. And then I took a long break.

This year I am hoping to get back to writing poetry as the words come to heart. Perhaps those words will bless a soul and inspire hope and faith in someone’s heart.

Inspiring Hope Poetry Collection- Daughter of God!

“There is nothing ordinary about you. You are the daughter of the King and your story is significant.” – Biblereasons

Daughter of God!

Into the world she came.
From her Creator’s arms.
Into this family she came.
A part of her Creator’s plan.

Welcomed into the world.
Amid joy and laughter.
Welcomed into her family.
With deep love and gratitude.

Daughter of God!

A brand new start.
A blank sheet given.
A journey that starts at zero.
A life given for a purpose.

Like a stately cornerstone.
Carved to beautify a palace.
Like a graceful pillar.
Carved by God himself.

Daughter of God!

Made in the image and likeness of her father.
All of her inner delicate parts included.
Made so fearfully and wonderfully.
All of her is a wonder to behold.

Woven together in detailed perfection.
Seen before she stepped into the world.
Every detail of her life before him.
Shaped skillfully from nothing to something.

Daughter of God!

She is broken, wounded and left for dead.
Let not the world define her.
She is bold, Intelligent and beautiful.
Let not the world limit her.

You are chosen and called.
Be who God has called you.
You are the King’s daughter.
Live out your true Identity.

Daughter of God!

Washed and Forgiven.
Whole and Healed.
Free and Loved.
Accepted and glorified.

She is a daughter of God
A citizen of heaven.
A ruler here on earth.
Let her arise and shine her light.

“As daughters of God we are each unique and different in our circumstances and experiences. And yet our part matters—because we matter.” – Elaine S. Dalton
