Blog Interview Series: How I Turned My God-Given Gift Into Income Online

Welcome to Motherhood Voices – How I Turned My God-Given Gift Into Income Online

Our guest today is Nnenna Judith Linus

Oneinspiredmum: Welcome ma’am. We are so excited to have you here.

Guest: Thank you for the opportunity.

Oneinspiredmum: Firstly, we have some quick questions we will like to ask you. Here we go.

Quick Fire Questions

1. What book are you currently reading?

Right now, I am drawn to books that focus on growth, faith, and purpose. I am very intentional about feeding my mind with things that stretch me spiritually and mentally. This is because I believe that who you become internally reflects in what you build externally.

2. Who or What inspires you?

I am deeply inspired by everyday women, especially mothers, who are building something meaningful from almost nothing. Women who do not always have it all figured out but still show up anyway. That kind of quiet strength inspires me.

3. What does Motherhood mean to you?

Motherhood means purpose in its purest form. It has stretched me, refined me, and given me a deeper reason to grow. It is not just about raising children — it is about becoming the kind of woman that they can look up to.

God does not give you gifts just for yourself. He places them in your hands so you can serve others, and in serving, He creates pathways for purpose, impact, and provision.

Main Questions

1. Tell us a little about yourself. Who are you, and what did life look like before you started sharing your hair videos online?

My name is Nnenna Judith Linus also known as Juena Daily. I am a content creator who is passionate about helping women, especially mums, to turn their skills into income online. Before I started sharing my hair videos online, life felt uncertain. I had always wanted to be financially independent, but I did not fully know how to go about it. I was in that space where you feel that there is more for you, but you do not yet know how to access it. Juena Daily is a page I created in 2022 to share my hair videos online. You can find it here on Facebook and Instagram.

2. Many women go through seasons where they feel stuck, helpless, or frustrated. Can you share what that season looked like for you?

That season of my life was filled with a lot of internal struggle. I felt capable, but I did have clarity. I would see other people growing and making progress, and it made me question myself — like, “What am I missing?” It was frustrating because I knew I wasn’t empty, but I did not yet know how to use what I had.

3. At what moment did you first sense the nudge to start sharing videos of yourself making your hair online?

It was not a dramatic moment. I would say that it was more like a quiet, consistent nudge. I watched women like me become successful just by sharing their videos online, and deep down, I kept feeling like I should start too. It did not fully make sense at that time, but the feeling would not just go away.

4. When did you realize that something you were doing naturally could actually help meet your needs?

That realization came gradually. As I started posting, people began to engage, ask questions, and appreciate what I was doing. That was when it clicked. What felt normal all along to me was actually valuable to someone else. And where there is value, there is opportunity.

5. Many women overlook the gifts that God has placed in their hands. When did you begin to see your gift differently?

I began to see my gift differently when I saw the impact of my gift. When people started learning from me, recreating my styles, and messaging me about how helpful my content was, it changed my perspective. I realized my gift was not just for me.

6. Sometimes the first step is the hardest. What finally made you press record and share that first video?

It came down to a decision. I stopped waiting to feel ready and chose to act anyway. That first step was not perfect, but it was necessary.

7. Looking back now, do you feel that sharing those hair making videos  was an act of obedience to God?

Yes, I truly believe it was. At that time, it felt small and uncertain, but now I can see that it was part of a bigger plan. Sometimes obedience does not look big—it just looks like starting.

8. How did it feel the first time you earned money from something that started as just sharing your gift?

It felt surreal. It was one of those moments where everything shifts in your mind. You realize that what you once overlooked can actually become a source of income and impact.

9. Did you ever struggle with doubt or fear before putting yourself out there online?

Yes, I did. I questioned myself, my consistency, and whether anyone would even care. But I have learned that doubt does not always go away. You just have to move forward despite it.

10. How did your faith guide you through the early stages when you did not know what the outcome would be?

My faith helped me trust the process. Even when I didn’t see immediate results, I believed there was purpose in what I was doing. That belief kept me grounded.

11. What were some of the early opportunities that came from sharing your content online?

I started getting visibility, recognition, gifts from followers, and messages from people who were genuinely learning from me. Those early signs showed me that I was on the right path.

12. How has earning from your gift changed your perspective on work and God’s provision?

It has completely shifted my mindset. I now understand that provision does not always come from traditional paths. Sometimes it comes from what you already have —when you are willing to use it.

13. In what ways have you seen God provide for you through this journey?

Through growth, opportunities, provision, connections, and even the strength to stay consistent. There were moments I did not have it all figured out, but things still aligned in ways I could not have planned.

14. Many women feel they don’t have anything special to offer or any gift/talent that can bring income or impact. What would you say to that woman who feels that way?

Everyone has something. As my mum always says, God did not create anyone empty. The problem is that many people overlook their gifts because they feel too normal. Your gift is often the thing that comes easily to you but is valuable to someone else.

15. How can women begin to recognize and use their gifts in this tech-driven era?

Start by sharing what you know. You do not need perfect equipment or need to have a perfect plan. The digital space rewards consistency and authenticity more than perfection.

16. What role do you believe courage and faith play when it comes to stepping into your purpose or calling?

Courage and faith are essential. Faith helps you believe, and courage helps you act. You need both.

17. The online space can be exciting but also intimidating. What were some of the challenges you faced when you started?

Self-doubt, inconsistency, online criticism, and not fully understanding how the space worked. But I learned along the way.

18. What helped you stay consistent, especially during times when growth or income was slow?

Remembering why I started —my children, and even my small audience at that time who encouraged me and told me not to give up. That kept me going even when growth and income were slow.

19. What practical advice would you give to women who want to start but feel unsure?

Start by asking God for guidance. He alone can lead you through the journey. Do not overthink it. Start with what you have. Clarity often comes after you begin.

20. Sometimes we wait for everything to be perfect before we start. What would you say to someone who is waiting?

Perfection is a delay tactic. If you wait for everything to align, you may never start. I started without a tripod or ring light.

21. Beyond income, what does using your gifts mean to you personally?

It means purpose, impact, and fulfillment. It is bigger than money – It is all about making a difference. I feel blessed.

22. What is one lesson that God has taught you through this journey that you will never forget?

That small acts of obedience can lead to bigger outcomes than you imagine. Trust and obey.

23. If you could tell one woman who is sitting on her gift today something from your own experience, what would it be?

What you have is enough to start. Do not wait for validation. Just start, put your trust in God, and let your journey speak for itself.
