According to the dictionary, the word ‘blessing’  means – a favor or gift bestowed by God, thereby bringing happiness. It can also be said to mean the invoking of God’s favor upon a person. We saw this happen in the life of Abraham, when God swore that in blessing, he had blessed Abraham.

“By Myself I have sworn, declares the LORD, that because you have done this and have not withheld your only son, I will surely bless you, and I will multiply your descendants like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will possess the gates of their enemies. And through your offspring all nations of the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.” Genesis 22:16-18

Having God’s blessings in your life will always gives you the advantage. God has promised you blessings of fruitfulness, abundance, wealth, prosperity, protection, health and a sound mind in his word. He wants you to embrace and declare those blessings from his word every single day.
